Dr. Ravi Chander Rao

Dr. Ravi Chander Rao is the founding surgeon and Medical Director at HairSure Hair Transplant Centre, Hyderabad. With over 20 years of experience in plastic and hair restoration surgery, he has performed more than 5,000 hair transplant procedures. He is widely regarded as one of the leading hair transplant surgeons in South India.

Dr. Rao holds an M.Ch in Plastic Surgery from Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, where he was recognized for his exceptional surgical skills. He completed his MS in General Surgery from JJMMC, Davanagere (Best Outgoing Student), and his MBBS from MRMC, Gulbarga. His extensive training in both general surgery and plastic surgery gives him a unique advantage in performing complex hair restoration procedures.

As an active member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), and the Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons — India (AHRS-India), Dr. Rao stays at the forefront of the latest advancements in hair restoration.
